Strip days, measured properly
Phone GPS will not out-measure a drag strip’s timing beams — that is not the point. The point is having every run recorded with context, including all the ones that happen where beams are not installed. Closed course use as the venue demands; the app keeps the record either way.
Reading a run like a timesheet
A 400m time on its own says less than people think. The curve behind it says everything: whether the launch bogged, where mid-range pulled hardest, whether top end was still building at the marker. - Strip days are the benchmark. Timing beams remain the official word; TripRank is the record of everything else, including runs where beams do not exist.
- Log conditions. Heat, surface, and fuel load move times. The trip record keeps date and location context automatically.
- Consistency beats hero runs. Three repeatable passes teach more than one outlier with a tailwind.
