MotoGP Mugello 2027 dates are confirmed for 28–30 May 2027, with the Italian Grand Prix race on Sunday, 30 May. Mugello Circuit announced the weekend following MotoGP’s calendar release on 25 September 2026. The event takes place at Scarperia e San Piero, Italy, and concerns MotoGP, not Formula 1.
As of this report on 30 October 2026, the official ticket listing showed “Coming soon”. However, detailed session times were not established in the official sources reviewed.
What are the MotoGP Mugello 2027 dates?
The three-day event runs from Friday, 28 May, through Sunday, 30 May 2027. Crucially, the calendar’s 30 May date identifies race day, not the start of the entire weekend.
The official MotoGP 2027 calendar announcement places Mugello at Round 8 of a 22-Grand-Prix season. Meanwhile, the official ticket calendar gives the full 28–30 May event window.
| Detail | Confirmed information |
|---|---|
| Event | MotoGP Italian Grand Prix |
| Weekend | 28–30 May 2027 |
| Race day | Sunday, 30 May 2027 |
| Venue | Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello |
| Location | Scarperia e San Piero, Italy |
| Calendar position | Round 8 |
| Ticket status | “Coming soon” when checked |
| Detailed timetable | Not verified in the sources reviewed |
For fans comparing travel dates, that distinction matters. A trip built around Sunday alone does not cover the full published event window.
Where is the Mugello MotoGP race held?
The venue is Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, near Scarperia e San Piero in Italy. The Mugello Circuit event announcement names the 28–30 May 2027 weekend.
However, the circuit’s English announcement contains a conflicting “2026” reference inside a quoted passage. Its headline and MotoGP’s official listings identify the event as 2027. Therefore, 2027 is the year to use when checking accommodation and transport.
For drivers travelling to the circuit, the confirmed venue provides a starting point for route planning. However, it does not confirm event-specific parking, gate access or shuttle arrangements. Check those details separately before committing to an arrival plan.
Is the Mugello Italian Grand Prix Formula 1 or MotoGP?
This announcement concerns MotoGP. It does not announce a Formula 1 race at Mugello.
The distinction matters because “Italian Grand Prix” alone leaves the championship unclear. Here, the official MotoGP calendar, circuit announcement and ticket listing identify the motorcycle racing event.
Similarly, readers following our Australian MotoGP schedule coverage should treat each round’s dates and viewing arrangements separately. A timetable from another race cannot establish Mugello’s session times.
For broader Italian motorsport planning, our Ferrari WEC Monza schedule report covers a different championship and venue. Neither its dates nor its practical arrangements apply to this Mugello announcement.

Are tickets for MotoGP Mugello 2027 on sale?
The official MotoGP ticket calendar showed the Italian event as “Coming soon” when checked for this report. Accordingly, this article does not describe tickets as already on sale.
For anyone searching for 2027 Italian Grand Prix tickets, first confirm the championship, circuit and year. The correct listing should identify MotoGP, Mugello and 28–30 May 2027.
Before buying, check exactly which days and areas a ticket covers. Also review the seller’s terms and any separate parking information. The verified sources here do not establish ticket prices, specific grandstand availability or package inclusions.
Meanwhile, a published event date is not a ticket-sale announcement. Keep those two milestones separate when coordinating travel with other fans.
What is the 2027 MotoGP Mugello schedule?
The confirmed schedule currently establishes the weekend dates and Sunday’s race date. However, the official sources reviewed did not establish detailed session start times.
That means practice, qualifying and any Sprint timing should remain unlisted here. Likewise, this report cannot confirm support-race timings, gate-opening hours or a broadcaster schedule.
For now, use this planning checklist:
- Save the event window: 28–30 May 2027.
- Mark race day: Sunday, 30 May.
- Check ticket status: the reviewed listing showed “Coming soon”.
- Wait for the detailed timetable: do not treat assumed session times as confirmed.
- Check viewing information separately: broadcast arrangements were not established in this report.
Consequently, the Italian MotoGP 2027 announcement gives fans a firm date to plan around, but not a complete hour-by-hour itinerary.
