The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2027 dates are Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 July, at Goodwood House near Chichester, West Sussex. Goodwood’s 30 October 2026 announcement sets out autumn ticket releases, with general public sales starting on 9 November. The dates themselves were announced in July, so the fresh news is the ticket-sale schedule.
Information checked against the supplied official sources as of 31 October 2026.
What are the dates for Goodwood Festival of Speed 2027?
The event runs across four days: Thursday 15, Friday 16, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July 2027. Those are the confirmed Goodwood FOS 2027 dates, rather than provisional calendar slots.
However, the latest announcement is not the first confirmation of that weekend. Goodwood had already published the dates in July 2026. Its 30 October date and ticket announcement now gives the autumn sales sequence.
That distinction matters if you have already bought tickets or received an earlier invitation. The November public release does not mean every ticket category first becomes available then. Instead, Goodwood has offered access in stages.
For drivers comparing next summer’s motorsport trips, the four-day window is the useful starting point. Our report on the confirmed 2027 Mugello MotoGP dates covers another event already on the calendar. Keep each event’s ticket arrangements separate when planning.
When do Goodwood Festival of Speed 2027 tickets go on sale?
The October announcement gives three autumn release dates. GRRC Members have access from 31 October, followed by GRRC Fellowship members on 2 November. General public sales begin on 9 November 2026.
| Release or event | Confirmed date | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| GRRC Members’ autumn release | Saturday 31 October 2026 | Member access in the announced autumn sequence |
| GRRC Fellowship release | Monday 2 November 2026 | Fellowship access before the public release |
| General public release | Monday 9 November 2026 | Public ticket sales begin |
| 2027 event | Thursday 15–Sunday 18 July 2027 | Four days at Goodwood House |
There is also an earlier sales window to acknowledge. Goodwood’s July 2026 Festival of Speed media release said 2026 ticket buyers, Members and Fellows could purchase from 13 July 2026.
Consequently, returning visitors should distinguish that earlier access from the newly specified autumn dates. Neither announcement should be read as a promise that every admission option remains available.
For Goodwood Festival of Speed 2027 tickets, check the official booking information for the day and admission category you want. The supplied announcement gives release dates, but not a complete ticket-price list or purchase conditions.
Where is the 2027 Festival of Speed held?
The venue is Goodwood House, Kennel Hill, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0PX. It is on the Goodwood Estate, not at the separate Goodwood Motor Circuit.
That is a practical distinction, especially when arranging accommodation, a meeting point or navigation. Use the event’s arrival instructions rather than assuming that a route to the circuit reaches the correct entrance.
Goodwood’s official Festival of Speed page is the reference for visitor information. However, the date announcement does not establish every 2027 access arrangement.
Before committing to travel, check these details:
- The admission date shown on your booking.
- The arrival and parking instructions relevant to your ticket.
- Any accessibility arrangements you need.
- The final event map when Goodwood publishes it.
Meanwhile, keep the drive there separate from the action on the hill. Follow public-road limits; leave performance driving to organised closed-course sessions.

Has Goodwood announced the 2027 Festival of Speed schedule or car line-up?
Not in the supplied date announcement. The detailed daily timetable, entry list, car and driver line-up, and 2027 theme are not confirmed there. Goodwood says the entry list, timetable and map will appear ahead of the event.
Therefore, do not choose a day on the assumption that a particular driver or car will run. A confirmed event weekend is not a confirmed running order.
The current event page also shows general opening and activity times. However, those should not be presented as the published 2027 timetable. Wait for information explicitly assigned to the 2027 edition before planning around a specific hillclimb slot.
For now, the announcement supports three firm planning decisions: which four dates to reserve, where the event takes place, and when each autumn ticket window starts. It does not yet support a session-by-session itinerary.
How much are Goodwood Festival of Speed 2027 tickets?
The supplied date announcement does not give ticket prices. As a result, this report cannot confirm a 2027 admission cost or compare ticket categories on value.
Check the official booking page when your sales window opens. Then compare the admission date, included access and booking conditions before paying. Avoid treating a previous year’s price as a confirmed 2027 figure.
Likewise, the announcement does not confirm broadcast arrangements or a livestream schedule. Visitors and fans watching remotely will need separate updates for those details.
How can TripRank help with the drive to Goodwood?
TripRank is an iOS driving and performance telemetry companion app. It records drives with GPS route capture, works fully offline and continues recording in the background.
For the journey to West Sussex, it can keep a route record and provide a per-trip Smoothness Score. The free tier shows the 10 most recent trips in trip history; older trips are locked. Our guide to how TripRank works explains the tracking and Pro features.
It is a way to record the drive, not a substitute for Goodwood’s event map or arrival instructions.
