TripRank 1.4.2: Consistent Scores and Clearer Stats

TripRank 1.4.2 brings consistent scores across live drives, saved trips and driving stats. This release also weights lifetime scores by trip duration, clarifies activity visuals in Stats and recalculates score dimensions for existing trips.

Consistent scores from live drive to saved trip

Live trip scores, saved trip scores and driving stats are now aligned. The improvement addresses consistency across these views, from recording a drive to reviewing it afterward.

For drivers checking a score during a drive and returning to the saved record later, that continuity matters. The live view and the later review should provide a consistent basis for understanding the same drive.

Lifetime scores reflect trip duration

Lifetime scores now weight trips by their duration. Time spent driving therefore matters to the lifetime result, rather than treating a short drive as equivalent to a much longer one.

A 10-minute drive and a 60-minute drive represent different amounts of time behind the wheel. Duration weighting makes that distinction relevant when reviewing lifetime scores. This change concerns the longer-term picture, beyond any single saved trip.

Clearer activity visuals in Stats

Refreshed activity visuals in Stats show speed zones and cornering events more clearly. The change focuses on how that activity is presented when drivers review their driving data.

After a drive, speed and cornering are different parts of the same record. Clearer visuals make those details easier to distinguish. Find the refreshed presentation in Stats when looking back at recorded activity.

A more recognizable Stats callout

The Stats callout now has higher contrast, an icon and an arrow. These visual changes make it easier to recognize.

This is a navigation improvement rather than a new measurement. When returning to review driving stats, a more distinct callout helps drivers identify it with less visual searching. The change is small, but it supports the same task as the refreshed activity visuals: making recorded data easier to find and read.

Recalculated score dimensions for existing trips

Existing trips now have recalculated score dimensions. This brings the score-axis update to drives already recorded, not just new drives.

That matters when reviewing older trips alongside recent ones. Previously saved drives remain part of the scoring picture, with their score dimensions recalculated as part of this release.
